In line with the modernisation and industrialisation agenda of Zimbabwe, the University of Choice, the Zimbabwe Open University, has introduced new programmes tailor-made to address the challenges facing the Zimbabwean economy.
The new programmes are in the faculties of Information Technology & Multimedia Communication and Applied Social Sciences.
There are two programmes under the Faculty of Information Technology & Multimedia Communication, which are the Bachelor of Science Honours in Multimedia Technology and the Bachelor of Science Honours in Network Computing.
The University also introduced the Master of Social Science in Development Studies and the Post Graduate Diploma in Development Studies.
These programmes are bench-marked against top international universities. ZOU graduates will be able to provide solutions to national and global challenges.
With these new programmes on offer, Zimbabweans can now discover their full potential.
There is also good news as the University of Choice has introduced 2-year programmes for Diploma Holders. There will be no longer need for a Diploma Holder to study for 4 years. The new 2-year degree programmes are the Bachelor of Science Honours in Library and Information Technology, Records and Archive Management, Bachelor of Accounting Honours and Bachelor of Banking and Finance Honours.
