Mashonaland Central Regional Campus

 

You are most welcome to the Zimbabwe Open University, Mashonaland Central Regional Campus which supports over 2 000 students.

The Regional Centre is located in Bindura Town. Its offices are at No.209 Hay Road on the western side of the city Centre. The Regional Centre has a staff compliment of 11full-time staff who provide the link between students and the University. In addition the Centre employees more than sixty part-time lecturers spread across all the departments.

Tutorial venues are in Bindura urban. These include Bindura University, Bindura Primary School and Hermann Gmeiner Secondary School and more recently Chipadze Secondary School. We hope you will decide to study with the Zimbabwe Open University, Mashonaland Central Regional Campus.

The Regional Campus started operating in 1993. At present the Regional Campus has 40 staff members, 14 Academic and 26 administrative staff. Zimbabwe Open University, Mashonaland Central Regional Campus is providing service to eight districts of Mashonaland Central Province. The longest distance across the province is approximately 250 km. We get students from the eight districts of Mashonaland Central Province and the surrounding areas.
