Harare/Chitungwiza Regional campus launches Scripture Union Chapter

The Zimbabwe Open University (ZOU) Harare/Chitungwiza Regional Campus took the lead and launched their Scripture Union Chapter at their Main Post Office Campus this week.

The move, an initiative of the Student representative Council (SRC), with the help of Student Advisors and other staff members at the Regional Campus, the Chapter was successfully launched on Wednesday afternoon.

Members will meet in the SRC office every Wednesday and Friday at 13:15 to share the word with different preachers who will be called to deliver the gospel week in week out.

However, SRC representative Vitalis Makaza said the move was long overdue as Scripture Union has over the years proved to be a unifier among people.

Harare/Chitungwiza Regional Campus IT specialist Mr Edmore Mukubvu ministered while close to 60 people attended the launch. Numbers are set to increase as the event gains popularity.
