ZOU to tap into Students’ Talent

The Zimbabwe Open University (ZOU) through the Centre for Student Management is committed to support all the students who have displayed exceptional talent in other fields of life, for example, sports and arts.

Speaking at a meeting where the University was reviewing this year’s edition of the Vice Chancellor’s Tournament, Director Centre for Student Management, Professor David Chakuchichi said the University will make efforts to support all the students with exceptional talent in their respective fields.

He reiterated that Harare/Chitungwiza Regional Campus soccer team should be given maximum support to venture into competitive football as they have shown that they are a force to reckon with, having won gold in soccer since the inception of the inter campus games. Plans are underway to have the team registered with the country’s supreme football governing body, Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA).
