The Zimbabwe Open University (ZOU) Bulawayo Regional Campus has moved their Student Representative Council (SRC) elections to a closer date for logistical reasons.

The Regional Campus had set their SRC elections for December 2, 2017, but Director CSM, Professor David Chakuchichi said the date was too far and would leave Bulawayo the only Regional Campus that will not be having a new SRC executive committee by month end.

According to Bulawayo Regional Campus Student Advisor, Doctor Sylod Chimhenga, the elections have now been set for November 20, 2017.

Chimhenga said nominations, which will be guided by the new SRC election rules have since started and will close on November 15, 2017.

Meanwhile, Mashonaland East and Manicaland had their elections last week while Harare/Chitungwiza Regional Campus had theirs on Friday.
