Mashonaland West Regional Campus Meets Minister Shamu

The Zimbabwe Open University (ZOU), Mashonaland West Regional Campus met the Minister of State for Provincial Affairs in the region, CDE Webster Shamu recently to brief him on how the university was getting involved in community programmes that thrive to improve the livelihood of the communities at large.

ZOU was represented by Regional Campus Director Mr Nyajeka, Mr Gudyanga, the Regional Programme Coordinator in the Faculty of Commerce and Law, Mr Samson, the Regional Administrator and Ms Nyawo, the Chief Secretary for Mashonaland West Regional Campus.

Regional Director, Mr Nyajeka briefed the minister about the Vision, Mission of ZOU and the roles that the University has taken to develop the province.

Cde Shamu promised to support some of the projects like the beef and dairy farming which the University is doing in the province in partnership with the local farmers. These are dairy in Chitomborwizi (Zvimba) and beef production in Sanyati. Cde Shamu promised to work hand in hand with the University.
