I know you come from diverse environments but you become one family whose aspiration is to acquire higher qualifications, be they Diploma or Degree qualifications. In your diversity, you might need these higher qualifications for one main reason which might be to enhance chances of promotion at work places. This is not to suggest that there are no other reasons why students engage in further studies.
In normal situations, the desire for further studies would have forced most of you to resign from work places. This is no longer necessary because you have the Zimbabwe Open University at your rescue and your can now afford to engage in further studies while you maintain and retain your status as a worker.
Harare Region is fortunately there for you Harare and Chitungwiza residents to enjoy this facility offered by the Zimbabwe Open University. The region has committed members of both teaching and non teaching staff who are ready to give you all the information you might require. We have an open door policy that will enable you to visit us whenever you find it necessary to do so.
We are open throughout the day, even during lunch hours, to make sure that our working and non working clients are conveniently accommodated. Strategic offices, this is, assignment collection and data capturing offices, are open on Saturdays from 9 am to 1:00pm to enable students to submit their assignments and update their coursework records.
The openness the Zimbabwe Open University is known for will always be evident at our Harare Regional Offices. You no longer need to inconvenience yourself by going beyond our boarders to enjoy the comfort of open and distance learning because the Zimbabwe Open University, through its Harare Regional offices, is sufficiently staffed and equipped to help you enjoy the process of self empowering through open and distance learning .
