Bachelor of Banking and Finance Honours (BABFZ)(2 years)

Bachelor of Banking and Finance Honours provides graduates of banking and finance advanced diploma programmes such as IOBZ, HEXCO Higher National Diploma in Banking and Finance and any related advanced diplomas in finance with additional academic and career-building opportunities. Graduates of the Bachelor of Banking and Finance Honours can work in various finance and investment firms, public sector and microfinance institutions.

2.1: ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

For admission to the Bachelor of Banking and Finance Honours, applicants must have a diploma in Banking and Finance from a recognised institution or a recognised full professional qualification in which finance and/or the banking component(s) is (are) strongly represented. Applicants should have successfully completed these professional courses or diplomas.

2.2 PROGRAMME STRUCTURE

The curriculum for the Bachelor of Banking and Finance Honours comprises 18 examinable courses and a supervised research and innovation project. The student is expected to accumulate a minimum of 240 credit points to meet the requirements of Bachelor of Banking and Finance Honours.
