The Bachelor of Commerce in Banking and Finance (Special Honours) is a one -year programme taught over two semesters. This programme is a tailor made mostly for students holding general degrees in their field of specialization especially banking and finance.
3.1 ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
For admission to the Bachelor of Commerce in Banking and Finance (Special Honours), applicants must have a recognised Bachelor of Commerce in Banking & Finance or any other relevant degree in which banking and finance component is strongly represented.
Applicants should have passed their first degree with a minimum of third class or better.
The curriculum for the Bachelor of Banking and Finance Special Honours comprises 8 examinable courses and a supervised research and innovation project. The student is expected to accumulate a minimum of 120 credit points to meet the requirements of Bachelor of Banking and Finance Special Honours.
