BACHELOR OF COMMERCE IN INTERNAL AUDITING HONOURS

Upon successful completion of this programme, graduates will be able to:

  • Develop expertise in internal audit processes and risk assessment methodologies;
  • Apply internal auditing standards and best practices in organisational contexts;
  • Evaluate and improve organisational governance, risk management and internal control processes;
  • Conduct fraud detection and investigation procedures;
  • Demonstrate understanding of corporate governance and ethical frameworks;
  • Apply research methodologies to auditing and governance issues.
  • Minimum: 4 years (8 semesters)
  • Maximum: 8 years (16 semesters)

Requirements

Normal Entry

5 ‘O’ Level passes including English Language and Mathematics (Grade C or better)

 ‘A’ Level passes (Commercial subjects preferred) is a distinctive advantage

Special Entry

Higher National Diploma (HND) or National Diploma (ND) in Accountancy, Auditing or equivalent qualifications with merit
