Commitment in Action: ZOU Staff Champion National Clean-Up Campaign

On Friday, August 1, 2025, Zimbabwe Open University (ZOU) staff from across the nation came together to take part in the Presidential Clean-Up Campaign. This monthly initiative, launched by President Emmerson D. Mnangagwa in 2018, unites citizens in a shared mission to create a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable environment for all.

Demonstrating a strong commitment to this vital cause, ZOU staff, easily identifiable in their branded attire and protective gear, gathered at designated locations. The Registrar rallied the teams, highlighting the critical role their participation plays in the success of this national movement.

By actively engaging in the campaign, ZOU reinforces its dedication to supporting key national initiatives that not only improve community well-being but also promote environmental stewardship. This participation is a powerful statement of the university’s commitment to building a better future for Zimbabwe.
